How much does it cost?
The preview is free. The full-size download is $19, one time. There is no subscription. Sold in the US only.
How long does it take?
About 30 seconds for your preview. It can take a little longer, so please keep the page open.
Which photos work?
Photos of pets only, no people or children. A clear, well-lit face works best. Use a JPG or PNG under 4 MB. Photos are checked automatically to make sure they show a pet; a photo with a person in it is refused and not saved.
Is the portrait made by AI?
Yes. Every portrait is AI-generated from your photo in the style you choose. The examples on this site are made from public-domain (CC0) photos of animals, not from customers' pets.
What do I get when I pay?
The same portrait at full size, 1536 × 1024 pixels (1024 × 1536 for a portrait-shaped photo), without the watermark. It is a digital file; nothing is mailed. Best for screens and small prints. Your download link keeps working, so bookmark it.
What size can I print it at?
The file is 1536 × 1024 pixels (or 1024 × 1536). At 300 dpi that prints about 5 × 3.4 inches, and at 150 dpi, which is fine for a casual wall print, about 10 × 7 inches. That is enough for a small casual print. It is not made for large canvases.
Is it a gift I can give?
Yes. After you pay you download the file and can share it or print it yourself. Nothing is mailed by us, and we don't send anything to the recipient.

What will I see when I pay?
You pay on Stripe's secure checkout page. Your receipt comes from Stripe, and your card statement shows our name.
What if I lose my download link?
Email hello@beanframe.com from the address you paid with and tell us roughly when you paid. We'll help you get your file.
What if I don't like it?
You see the preview before you pay, so we don't refund a change of mind. We will refund you in full if, within 60 days of purchase, the file doesn't arrive, is corrupted or won't download, or is significantly different from the preview you approved, or if you were charged twice or without your permission. See our refund policy.
What happens to my photo?
Your photo is sent to our AI provider to create your AI-generated portrait, and we use it only for that. Before we make a portrait, your photo is checked automatically to make sure it shows a pet and not a person; a photo that fails the check is not saved by us. Our AI provider may keep it for a limited time for abuse monitoring. An unpaid preview is deleted from our storage after 7 days (30 days if you started checkout). If you buy, we keep your full-size file so your download link keeps working, until you ask us to delete it: hello@beanframe.com. See our privacy policy.
Do I need an account?
No signup, and no card is needed for the preview.
Can I make a portrait of a pet who has passed?
Yes. Under the style options, choose "Remembering a pet who has passed? Make a gentler portrait." It uses a softer look and a quieter page.
Who is it for, and where is it sold?
Beanframe is for pet portraits only, for now. It is sold in the US only, and it is a digital file, with no physical item.
